Discover your Dosha: An Introduction to Ayurveda

  • At One Studio 127 Buckley Street Essendon, VIC, 3040 Australia (map)

AYUR = LIFE

VEDA = KNOWLEDGE

Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, translates as knowledge of life and encompasses the idea of how to live holistically. In particular, it is the knowledge of how to live according to your unique and individual constitutional make up (your Dosha).

Learning about Eastern medicine and Ayurvedic practices can be a beautiful way to support both physical and mental wellbeing. These ancient techniques can help us manage, and even prevent, many common lifestyle imbalances, empowering us to take our health back into our own hands. While Ayurveda isn’t a replacement for Western medicine, it can complement it, offering a more holistic approach to life.

In this workshop, we’ll begin with movement and breathwork, in the form of sun salutations, to ground the body and mind. You’ll then be introduced to the foundations of Ayurveda and take a Dosha test to uncover your unique mind-body constitution. From there, we’ll explore simple, accessible practices you can start using right away to feel more balanced and energized.

Tea and nourishing snacks will be provided (you’re welcome to bring your own lunch), and every participant will receive a special e-book packed with insights and two Ayurvedic recipes to continue your journey at home.

Earlybird price (until 1st October): $79 per person

After 1st October: $89 per person
